Granny taught me to knit when I was 13. I was always fascinated by her craftiness. She could make just about anything. So once upon a time, thanks to Granny, I made a scarf or two. It had been so many years since I had knitted that I forgot how to "cast on"-or begin the whole process. So Perry Ann and I went to breakfast last week and she helped to re-ignite my desire for craftiness. She reminded me how to cast on. And here are the results friends.....
Meet Perry Ann(They don't get cuter than this)
Project # 1: A scarf for an undecided person (still a work in progress)
Project #2: I decided half way through Project # 1 that I now need to learn to crochet. Here's my first crochet project. It's a scarf (go figure :)) for my 4 year old niece, Kaylee. :)
Project # 3: No, no no, this is not a third scarf!!! This is my first ever baby blanket. Baby Culin is due any day and I'm going to be ready to wrap him up when he gets here!! I may just be slow b/c I'm new at the crocheting business...this has taken me about 10 hours to make :) ...Nothin' but love for the new baby. :)
"You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Isaiah 43:10
